Record 23000’ manpowered descent from summit of Aconcague to the sea in 23 hours.This is probably the greatest earthbound descent possible within 24 hours.

1991        3rd place.  Gibson Ranch Six Day foot race. 409 miles.

1st place .Alaska Mountain and Wilderness Classic in the Brooks Range of alaska. 130 miles. 2 days 6 hours.

Angeles Crest 100 mile race. 31hr 20 min.

 

1990        Record Hi-Tec 50 Peaks Expedition. High point of every US state in 101 days. Included Mt McKinley 20,320ft.

 

1989        1st  505 mile Lewis and Clark Stage Race across Washington state, an 8 day footrace averaging 65 miles/day

Death Valley to Mt Witney. New record 43:20.

Alaska Mountain and Wilderness Classic 150 miles in 3 days 5 hrs. 1st= place.

1st place, Anchorage Dog Sled Race.

Won the Truck class of the 6000 mile ALCAN Winter Rally, the longest winter rally ever held, Seattle to Anchorage and back via the Arctic circle in February.

1986        World record. High Altitude bicycling record (recognized in the Guiness book of World Records) at 20500 ft

               on Mt Chimborazo, Ecuador,South America. Descend 20000 ft to the Pacific by bicycle in 48 hours.

 

1984        Bicycle expedition across the Rift Valley of East Africa.

Quadrathon(swim 2,racewalk 32,bike 100,run 26)     17hrs 32min for the 160 mile course. 

Mt Cameroon Mountain race West Africa. 24miles + 10000' ft of  climbing. Then back down again in 5hrs 15 min.

 

1983        Running the Himalayas. A 2040 mile run through the Himalayas in 101 days. Set a new standard for ultra long       distance mountain trips. Raised $100,000 for charity.
