Nelson's background
Nelson was born on 7/31/71. He is single and works as a sheet metal foreman. He has completed numerous triathlons, runs and mulit-sport races. He is an expert mountain biker and is currently ranked 7th overall in the World Championships mountain biking. His adventure racing background includes over 10 races including the 2001 Eco Challenge in New Zealand where his team finished 21st overall. As a member of Team Karma, his team has had continuous good performances with a first place at the 2001 Four Winds 6 day race in Idaho and a 1st place at the Sierra Challenge 24 hour race in California. Neslon will serve as team captain during the 2002 Raid in Vietnam.
